We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Vijilan’s partners, including CrowdStrike and Cribl, to implement Cloud Security data management solutions. This role involves assisting with solution architecture, cloud workload protection (Containers and Kubernetes), Cloud Security Posture Manager (CSPM), and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance operations and professional services related to onboarding and managed services for MSP/MSSP and Enterprises companies.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Vijilan partners, including CrowdStrike and Cribl, and other team members to design and implement Cloud Security and data management solutions based on CrowdStrike Cloud Security and Cribl products.
- Facilitate work sessions and follow-up meetings with partners and clients.
- Cloud security workload protection solution deployment and configuration.
- Cloud security posture management deployment and configuration.
- Conduct presentation training sessions or presentations to other team members, partners, and clients.
- Provide documentation for internal teams and clients.
- Create a lesson learned document for each completed project.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and concepts in log management, data management, and cybersecurity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and 5+ years of experience performing IT deployments or in an end user/customer environment, as well as experience with the following:
- Cloud platform expertise and certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Extensive knowledge of at least one public cloud.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud and container deployment technologies.
- Strong knowledge of CSPM.
- Expertise in Linux administration and usage of CLI.
- Extensive experience scripting with Bash and/or Python (PowerShell is a plus).
- Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Comprehensive customer-facing consulting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Broad experience in overall cloud, computer, and network systems security.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
- Results-driven, self-starter with high level of motivation.
- Excellent time management with the ability to lead multiple customer engagements.
- Some experience in the following areas preferred:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.
- Container: EKS, AKS, GKE, ECS, OpenShift, Docker.
- Registry: ECR, GCR, ACR, JFROG Artifactory, Docker Hub, Red Hat OpenShift.
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Mac.
- Deployment: Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Batch.
- Development: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, including knowledge of code and repository management best practices.
- Cloud Platform and DevOps certifications a plus.
