Does a small business need a SIEM?
If you carry compliance obligations (cyber insurance, HIPAA, PCI) or run more than a handful of systems, yes: a SIEM is how activity across laptops, servers, identity and cloud becomes searchable evidence. Every Vijilan SMB package includes a SIEM on an index-free engine, with a full year of hot, searchable logs.
How is it priced for a small business?
Pricing is per asset and predictable: endpoints, users, servers and firewalls, with cloud and identity sources such as Microsoft 365 priced per user, on an index-free SIEM with no indexing-tax surprises. It is quoted for your company. Vijilan never displays public pricing.

Early Access: your program runs on the Vijilan portal from day one, against CIS Controls v8.1, with evidence stored with its collection date, expiry and a SHA-256 hash. During Early Access, framework crosswalks are delivered by the ThreatGovern advisory team, and automated assessment from connected telemetry rolls out source by source. Essential, Advanced or Premium. What the SOC does at each level is fixed and published, so there is no discovery workshop and no custom statement of work to negotiate before anyone can tell you anything.

We license Falcon, deploy it, tune it and watch it. A single-site rollout is usually live in about three business days.
What “fixed” actually means here

Elite is the exception and is deliberately not on this list. It is scoped per environment, so it is a conversation rather than a package, and we would rather say that than sell you a service level you cannot buy off a page. If you already have an IT provider you want to keep, say so and we will run ThreatDefend™ behind them instead of around them.
